Description

The Calico Fantail typically has an exciting palette of red, orange, and black markings against a field of white. This splendid color variation has an artistic, painted quality that makes each Calico Fantail unique and favorable to the eye. The tail is distinguished by its forked caudal fin, which forms a symmetrical pair resembling butterfly wings. All fins should be well proportioned and slightly rounded to create that perfect calico look.

Goldfish flake or pellet food will provide these fish with the proper nutrition. Protein intake should be no more than 30% of total diet.
